You're Not Building Alone

Some people are builders.

They're the people who can't stop thinking about an idea. They see a problem and immediately start imagining a better way to solve it. Sometimes they want independence, and to build wealth for their family. They're inventors, and rebels, and sometimes they're simply tired of spending their lives building someone else's dream. Entrepreneurs come from every imaginable background, but they all have one thing in common—they're willing to bet on themselves and create something that didn't exist before.

The funny thing is that once you decide to become an entrepreneur, you suddenly have to know everything. You're suddenly making decisions about contracts, hiring, taxes, financing, marketing, insurance, technology, intellectual property, and a hundred other things you probably never imagined when you had the idea in the first place. There is no shortage of information, opinions, or people selling advice. What there is a shortage of is trusted guidance, affordable resources, and an easy way to answer one simple question: "Who can I trust?"

Too many founders end up learning expensive lessons simply because they didn't know where to turn, who to ask, or which questions they should have been asking all along.

That's what I hope this becomes. A place where entrepreneurs can find trustworthy information, discover resources worth recommending, learn from the people who've already been there, and celebrate the wins that don't always make headlines. A place where founders can tell their stories—the successes, the failures, the mistakes, and the lessons they wish someone had shared years earlier. A place where spouses and families have a voice too, because entrepreneurship doesn't happen to one person; it happens to everyone who believes in the dream. If this site saves someone from making one avoidable mistake, helps a founder find the right person at the right time, or reminds a family that they're not the only ones on this journey, then it will have been worth building.
